In our work, we explore how parents and other important adults support children’s healthy development, particularly under stress. We are interested in how adults understand children’s behavior and emotions, as well as how children's relationships influence their developing ability to regulate their responses to stress. We integrate physiological, narrative, and behavioral measurement to study these processes.
