A tree inside of a circle with leaves and branches with visible roots, it has letter blocks at the base of the tree stacked on top of one another spelling "CFL". There is text next to the tree that says "Welcome to the Gray Child and Family Lab"

About our lab

In our work, we explore how parents and other important adults support children’s healthy development, particularly under stress. We are interested in how adults understand children’s behavior and emotions, as well as how children's relationships influence their developing ability to regulate their responses to stress. We integrate physiological, narrative, and behavioral measurement to study these processes.
