Renee Lamoreau starts new post-doctoral position!

One of our lab’s doctoral student alumni, Renee Lamoreau, has started a new post-doctoral position as a Pediatric Psychology Fellow in Perinatal and Early Childhood Mental Health at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)! She splits her time between the Richard D. Wood Jr. Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment (CFDT) and other clinics serving young children across the hospital system. In addition to her work in the CFDT, Renee is involved in an early childhood assessment clinic, parent consultation in the NICU, and an outpatient trauma-focused therapy clinic for school-aged children.

While she’s less involved with research right now and more focused on clinical training, Renee is supporting some ongoing projects at CHOP’s CFDT focused on supporting the psychosocial needs of parents with pregnancies affected by congenital anomalies/birth defects. They are currently piloting a group intervention called SPROUT that aims to provide psychoeducation about perinatal mental health and the transition to parenthood to families involved in the center.

We are so proud of Renee and her great accomplishments! We look forward to her continuing great work in her new position at CHOP!
