Yusur is a senior at the University of Connecticut majoring in Nutritional Sciences. She aims to pursue either medical school or a Ph.D., with a long-term goal of studying how nutrition shapes human health at the physiological level. Yusur is especially interested in the connection between diet, wellness, and the body’s intricate systems, and hopes to develop her own research project as she advances her laboratory skills. Outside of academics, Yusur enjoys working out, painting, and drawing with oils and colored pencils. She’s also rediscovering her love for reading and learning to cook, blending her passion for nutrition with creativity in the kitchen.
