Cynthia received her B.A. in Psychology from UConn in 2022 and plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Her research interests include the relationships among PTSD and trauma, the functionality of the amygdala, and emotional coping in neurodivergent and neurotypical children. She is currently a lab manager at the Connecticut Autism and Language Lab, which researches how to map complex behavioral constructs, such as social communication processes in autism onto mechanistic processes in the brain.
