Sammy is a fourth-year Doctoral Candidate at the University of Hartford’s Clinical Psychology Psy.D. program. She connected with Dr. Sarah Gray through her work as a clinical research assistant at UConn Health’s Family Adversity and Resilience Research (FARR) Lab. Her research interests include exploring the relationship between maternal and infant mental health, the psychophysiology involved in emotion and stress regulation, and the impact of trauma-informed interventions on families and young children. In her free time, she loves reading, painting, snuggling with her cats, and spending time with her loved ones.
